Capitulo 1

They too have their existance
Can good things come from it?
Scene 1:
San Pablo
(Our story begins in a cozy office decorated with many statues,including the small Statue of Liberty on the shelves and alongside sitting an elderly bearded man alongside a desk decorated with Whiskey bottles and a newspaper in his arms)
Gabriel: Heh these criminals captured today are a joke,they tried to rob a bank but one forgot the car keys,i dont want to read more because i already know they are not worth it ! (Gabriel drinks some more Whiskey and hears the door open and in enters Selventina,the hand-maiden and closes the door)
Selventina: Do i disturb you,Sir Gabriel?
Gabriel: Yes Selventina don't you see i am in the middle in something and what is up with that coffee you brought? I did not ask you for it.
Selventina: I simply brought it because You worry me. Ever since after the few day Mrs Juliana left the house You have been acting strange.
Gabriel : ( Tries the coffee) Since when do i ask you for your opinion.The reason i pay you well is because i expect great things from you,one of them is not meddling into my privacy! Get out of this room and take this horrible coffee along the way!
Selventina: Yes Sir,as you wish. (Leaves the room)
Gabriel: The only two things that satisfy me are this Whisky and the taste of revenge . ( Drinks some more Whiskey)
Scene 2 ( The kitchen)
( Selventina walks in the kitchen and comes across Cisnero,the other servant of Gabriel)
Cisnero: Ay Selventina what kind of a sad face do you bring? Did the coffee the Boss ordered taste good? Oh wait,he did not order it anyway!
Selventina: I dont care about the coffee,he rejected it of course but the boss is a good person,he is just sad that things never go his way with his daughter.
Cisnero: A good person? You only say so because he pays you good but he still treats you and the others bad.
Selventina: ( Says sarcasticgly) You are just creamy because no woman hasnt occupied your heart yet and because you are lazy?
Cisnero: Creamy,me? Just go to the basement to collect some supplies for tommorows big day and leave the coffee with me,dont worry you will be fine "smiles" .
( Selventina smiles back ,hands him the cofffe and leaves to the basement)
Cisnero: "Tries the coffee" The coffee does not taste bad,it is bitter but so is the drinker.The Boss will never change..
Scene 3
(Gabriel is now walking towards a special locked room containing a fireplace and in that room we also see photos and some golden vases.)
Gabriel: This fireplace burns greatly like the eternal hell fire in my fire,constantly shifting me inside.
( Gabriel now looks on the picture that is above the fireplace.Shown on the picture are Gabriel,Juliana and an unknown woman in their younger ages )
Gabriel: In this house you are the most precious picture Sir,you were once my will now you are just what you are ,an image.
(Selventina sees Gabriel in the hall room and approaches him)
Selventina: Im suprised i see You around here,Sir Gabriel ,You have never been here for many many years.
Gabriel: Well this room brings a lot of memories to me and i apoligize for my behaviour earlier.I just do not like people drilling into my affairs.
Selventina: It is good,I understand.I was just heading to the basement to get the supplies for tommorows big day.The 29th anniversary of your charity company.
Gabriel: As if it is going to be a good day.No day is interesting now after my daughter stopped contacting me.I think i should go back to my office because i am feeling ridiculus ,excuse me. (Gabriel heads back to his office while Selventina waits until he leaves, both exchange odd looks before he dissapears from the scene)
Selventina: Men,men.They never change do they,always the same "Smiles" . ( Selventina briefly looks at the fireplace and goes to the basement).
Scene 4
(The scene happens in the lovely town Aguazul,namely in the confession room where we see some familiar figures)
Monseratt: It has been years since the Tragedy occured,i lost my parents as well as my two companions in life,my dear Alejandro and Jose Luis who were the fathers of my two children.This grief is sometimes unsufforable "cries"
Padre Anselmo: You have to be strong child,you cannot let grief win over you,you need to be strong for Laurito ,for Romina.Come here child,at times like these the best gift is a hug "Hugs her"
Monseratt : (Still crying) Padre ,I know that i shouldnt be saying this but i am expecting that wherever Pedro Medina is now that he is having the worst times of his existance and hopefully he would die before completing his sentance .
Padre Anselmo: Do not worry Daughter,wherever he is is am sure that God is not being nice with him,people like him in the end only receive bad things.But do not dug yourself in hatred,it only facilates men like him ,it is what they are looking for.
Monseratt: Yes Padre i agree your advices always help me in times of need.Just look at yourself and your passion.You wear a cane and still doing your faithful work.
Padre A: Thats why i picked my job ,to help souls in need and to those who seek the Word of God i am always there for them.
Scene 5
(The scene occurs in Aguazul prison and outside)
Guard: (Guard stops at the cell of a slightly injured Pedro Medina) Sr. Medina it is time to go outside to get some fresh air,hurry up we dont have time all day!
Pedro: Fresh air,what is fresh air? "laughs" .Wait for a while ,i almost finished my book.It is better to be literste than to be an idiot,you tend to forget the words "does an evil smile"
Guard: Shut up and obey my orders! While here you are under my supervision and if you dont want an yet another punch you. m
Pedro : I am going and do not worry friend ,you wont end up with an bullet in the neck and you can have the book by the way! (Gives the book to the guard and leaves to the outside area)
Pedro : This place never changes ,always the same food and the same foolishness yet it is right for someone like me.
Gregorio( The cellmate who constantly causes Pedro trouble) : Just look who is here,the honorable little princess Pedro Medina,do you need to see a doctor? Your face seems a bit more red today "laughs"
Pedro : I do not need doctors,time can cure wounds ,even mine you see.
Gregorio:( Sinister music begins playing,namely Maldad -Luz de Guerreros) Well lets put that theory to test shall we? Time cannot heal everything ( Gregorio tries to punch Pedro ,he blocks the first punch and dodges the second one )
Pedro: Look Gregorio,i always tolerated your insults,your mocking because i deserved them but you are a bit crossing the line here! "punches Gregorio back
(Other prisoners look in disbelief)
Other prisoner:So the princess can fight back eh? Friends,lets help our comrade in need! ( They run towards Pedro and begin puching and kicking him en masse,his glasses falling to the ground until the guard arrives)
Guard: What is going on you garbages? What is this circus?
(The prisoners step back)
Prisoners: Nothing ,just helping a friend,our Gregorio from the attack of that filth,Pedro Medina!
Pedro : That is not true ,i was just defending myself you have to believe me!
Guard: So Pedrito you did a mess again ? You are getting a 24 hour detention and thats the final. "Takes Pedro away"
Gregorio: So i caused you trouble yet again but as if you are some saint "laughs" .
( The guard is dragging Pedro into a solitary cell)
Guard: This is the only place you wont be able to contaminate ,trash! "Unlocks the cell and throws Pedro in it and the guard leaves ,smiling."
Pedro: Heh,as if i dont deserve this room,been here countless times and it kinda got comfortable "sighs"
Scene 6
( The scene is shot in the Chile Prison,namely in the Dining room)
( Dionisio Ferrer is standing in the food line)
Dio: Today sure is a big line,all awaiting their share like sheeps.But none is a bigger sheep than me "Looks with a grim look as Lisandro{played by Luis Gatica},his friend approaches"
Lisandro: So friend ,you wait in the line too,you do not look very hungry though.
Dio:I am but with this line ,i am slowly losing my appetite"
Lisandro: Calm down friend and to tell the truth i am not hungry anyway,i am tired of this food.
Dio: Yes,Lisandro.What i truly hunger for is to settle my errors,my sins.Lets step out of this crowd,shall we?
(Lisandro and Dionisio step out)
Scene 7.
(Gabriel is back in the office)
Gabriel: This day sure is boring,nothing really interesting.Aside from visiting that room of memories ,there isnt anything else that picks my interest.
(Gabriel pours himself some water as the phone rings)
Gabriel: Hello,anyone there? Respond me!
V: Do not be moody Sir Gabriel,it is just me ,V. ( V at the moment is in a Black Van ,on the front seat ,parked in front of the Aguazul Court .)
Gabriel: Ah V it is you .I imagine that the only reason you called me is because you have news ,right?
V: Indeed Sir i have some news for you ,they might plight your mind.
Gabriel: Tell me,you have all my ears.
V:Just recently ,i discovered three criminals with different backrounds.One was a influentual fraudster,the other a escaped convict and the latter..
Gabriel: The latter,what?
V: Well lets say that he was the former governour of the Municipality of Aguazul,Pedro Medina .It seems you have hit the jackpot Sir
Gabriel: Very interesting indeed.Try as hard as you can to free these three individuals and bring them to me as soon as possible!
V: Yes Sir and i already am doing the procedures to set free the escaper.As for the remaining two i arranged it for tommorow.
Gabriel: Good work,as always V.Your ties within the Government are very handy.
V: They never cease to fall into my expectations,it is like i can control every move they make .I wish you a very good night "Hangs the phone" .
Scene 8
( Office of the Mexico Prison ,the same prison where Fernando Cordova currently resides)
Braulio( One of the chiefs of the prison): It seems that the prison is safe,for tonight No criminals were causing issues,everything is in order,well almost everything.
Natasha( the Second Chief of the Prison) : You mean that lunatic who lost one of his eyes right,Cordova?
Braulio: Yes,that one.We need to hire a bit better staff to deal with him.He is a "special case". ( Phone rings and Braulio answers and puts the phone on speakers )
Braulio: Yes,who is on the line.Why do you call at such late hours?
Santino( The Chief of Police in Aguazul: It is me ,Santino .I am currently in charge of the Aguazul police force.I called you because of very important news.
Braulio: I am listening.
Santino: Recently I have received a request from our Judge in town,Mariano Villealba for you to transfer a prisoner into the Aguazul police institution.
Braulio: Which prisoner are you you reffering to?
Santino: A prisoner that unfortunatly escaped your facility years ago,Fernando Cordova.
Braulio: When will the transfer take place?
Santino: Tommorow morning.
Braulio: Perfect,it is a deal then.Goodbye,i will hear you tommorow and i would politely ask for you to inform me when the transfer is done?
Santino: Of course,it is within our protocols ,do not worry. "Rolls his eyes"
Braulio: At last,Sr Cordova will not be causing issues anymore ,i am relieved "Breathes heavily"
Scene 9
(The scene occurs in the Aguazul Court Room)
V: This is a very good looking Court,Judge Mariano ,are you sure you dont feel sentencing me now ? "menacing look"
Mariano: Sentence you? Well yes i have something to sentence you,to glory! " laughs".
V: Well it is too bad that Judge Esperon's little heart could not last for too long,now you just took over his duty.Now the plan will soon be in motion.
Mariano: There is one obstacle,Dimitrio Mendoza the Capitan of the Navy but i will make sure that nothing is told to him of the transfer.And the dear Santino simply loves money too much to speak about it.Ever since the death of Jose Luis Alvarez,the ex-Chief of Police ,Santino was the next in line and since the town is too poor to afford a good President of Municipality,I can freely rule the town,i create the laws around here .
V: Yes,Judge Mariano Villialba you do a great job.And if you will remain loyal to me as you always were,i will help you win the elections "glares to Mariano"
Scene 10
(The scene is shot on Casa Arte,Isabel de La Riva's company.)
"Gabriela and Isabel are in the company office"
Gabriela : Isabel, I am so excited to see this company shine,you are so brilliant!
Isabel: Thank you Gaby,i couldnt have done it without you .The buisness grew so large we can now decorate rooms abroad and even create our own furniture.
Gabriela: Though you are not very succesful in your personal life are you?
Isabel: Well Arturo works a lot and Aranza and Esteban now live on their own.But it is much better than the past few years of torture.
Gabriela: You mean Fernando right ? Calm down friend,do not think about him it only brings bad things.
Isabel: Atleast you have Bruno now as your husband and the father of your child,my children are not here and i feel that Arturo is losing interest.
Gabriela: Everything will be alright ,you will see.The difference betwen the good and bad things is that the bad comes by the wind and slowly gets blown away.But the good things were always there and they will never leave.
Scene 11
La Nova Mansion
( Gabriel is in his bedroom)
Gabriel: Today at first i thought it was a boring day,until i received that call.It marks a new beginning
(Gabriel steps towards a window)
Gabriel: "looks to the stars" The beginning of a time reborn,the time that they pay for everything they done,for their cowardice.
Gabriel: Tommorow it will be a big day
Scene 12
Mexican prison
(We see a familiar man laghing and moaning)
Fernando: These eyes,these eyes.They hurt so much. Isabel i miss you so much.Did i hurt you too bad,are you gonna cry? "laughs"
Fernando: I bet that Sonia is having a wonderful time,in hell.And that poor Esteban ,the son of that witch Andrea should have killed me but he was too cowardly to pull the trigger.These damn eyes never cease to hurt me"laughs and does an evil gaze with his normal eye.
